The Long Walk - Women's Luncheon

The Long Walk are hosting a Women's Luncheon on Wednesday 10 October. The Luncheon is a fantastic opportunity for women to come along and mingle with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous women. The event will facilitate women sharing their stories, generations and culture.
Women's Luncheon details
This very special lunch is being hosted by MC Deborah Cheetham, with a guest performance from Christine Anu. It will be held at the San Remo Ballroom, in Carlton North, from 12pm to 3pm on Wednesday 10 October 2007. There is also a panel discussion group to be held on the day.
Funds raised through this Luncheon will be used to support Indigenous leadership initiatives.

Established by Aboriginal activist and former AFL-star Michael Long in 2004, The Long Walk highlights issues important to Indigenous Australians with their annual walk. Everyone can participate in The Long Walk, which brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous people with the aim to ensure all Australians enjoy the same basic human rights.
