Ardoch Youth Foundation invite you to join the Ampersand Walk 2007

We're really excited to invite you to join the Ampersand Walk 2007! The inaugural Ampersand Walk is an initiative of the Ampersand Network a dynamic, youth-led organisation committed to improving the appeal and accessibility of volunteering to young people. The 2007 Walk is supporting our client Ardoch Youth Foundation, along with 4 other not-for-profit organisations.

The Ampersand Walk is on Saturday 6 October. Work your way around Melbourne's Capital City Trail, taking turns with your team members to complete a 30km endurance challenge. Ardoch Youth Foundation are proudly supporting the event, and would like to invite you to make up a team and join in. But act now - there's not much time left to register! And if you can't make it along to the Ampersand Walk, you can still help out! The people at Ardoch Youth Foundation work hard to make education a reality for young people. Ardoch work together with the community - children, families, childcare centres, businesses, philanthropists, other community organisations - to develop methods for helping young people and families experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Schools, families and childcare facilities may not be able to respond adequately to these difficult situations, whether due to a lack of resources or knowledge around what to do. Ardoch provide expertise and advice in these situations, to help enable young people to stay at school, and enhance the learning opportunities available to them.
