Nexus Energy specialise in the exploration and production of natural resources, specifically oil and gas. Since 2003, they have gained several exploration permits in key areas around Australian shores. They have also added to their extensive portfolio of assets within the industry. In 2006, the company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. With such a high profile, it was obvious to Nexus Energy that they needed to update their website to reflect the quality of their brand.
Nexus Energy contacted Get Started to help redevelop their online strategy. Due to the importance of communication as an ASX listed company, a key requirement was a simple yet powerful content management system (CMS). Nexus Energy also identified that they would need a cost effective email marketing system (EMS) that had full tracking and comprehensive reports. Under the recommendation of Get Started, they decided to proceed with the TightPage CMS in combination with Trumpeter, Get Started's hot new EMS.
Working closely with the client, Get Started was able to produce a highly effective and functional website within a tight timeframe. The design is consistent with the Nexus Energy brand - ensuring to illustrate the modern, progressive nature of the company. Flash has been used tastefully to further illustrate this, while the architecture of the extensive content enhances usability.
Nexus Energy loves being able to easily update their website with key ASX information and announcements. An FTP area allows quick exchange of large files between disparate team members. In combination with Trumpeter, Nexus Energy has been able to increase the level of service and communication with shareholders and other stakeholders, while saving money!
