One of Australia's popular bands, The Cat Empire carried through its fresh facade onto their web site. The band has moved from strength to strength in recent years, breaking through in overseas markets including the notoriously difficult US market.

The Cat Empire recognised that the growing popularity of the band meant it was time for a new website. The new design had to be something special, like the band itself - different, engaging and suited to its fan-base.

Get Started built the band's original website, and were approached again by The Cat Empire for the redevelopment. The new site is built in the SiteFinity content management system, and has a shopping cart and online payments system built in. The Cat Empire can monitor the popularity of their site using the feature-rich statistics module.

The new The Cat Empire site features a forum, extended shop (including an area to purchase songs), photo galleries, news from the band and much more.

The design is particularly impressive. Get Started worked closely with The Cat Empire to find out what its fans would like, and produced an engaging design that suits the band to a tee. The home page features an image of the band - you access the rest of the website by clicking on the various band members to access different pages.
