Andrew Bitto

Web Producer

Andrew has commercial experience working in the web industry dating back to 2003. Beginning with small freelance projects for friends, he used these to source himself a year-long placement at a digital agency on St. Kilda Road whilst studying fulltime and holding down two casual jobs to pay the rent.

In 2006, Andrew completed his Bachelor of Multimedia (Networks & Computing) at Swinburne Uni, and after a couple of months of well-earned R&R, scored a contract at the CFA where he helped them launch, train for and manage their news and social networking hub, CFA Connect.

The next few years saw Andrew in a variety of contracts and roles through front-end development, usability and digital design, online advertising, search engine marketing and increasing project management, team leading, marketing and client-facing responsibilities. Becoming a bit of a jack-of-all trades, this led to his current role as Web Producer and Project Manager at Get Started, which he thoroughly enjoys.

In between all of this work, Bitto (as he is known) has an ever-changing number of side-projects ranging from the quirky to ambitious. He currently collects (and makes) lamps, maintains a growing news-sharing site, and writes music in his spare time, slowly producing an album. He is also an absolute movie fiend, seeing one almost every Tuesday with friends. On weekends, you can likely find Andrew in one of the infinite bars or clubs around Melbourne, possibly belting out some karaoke.
