Reprieve Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that provides legal services to impoverished people facing capital punishment. Reprieve also increases awareness about the death penalty and human rights. Established in 2001, Reprieve has been actively making a difference. Some of their programs include sending volunteers overseas to directly assist those facing the death penalty.

Reprieve Australia had a website but were having difficulties due to a lack of content management and an outdated web design that didn’t reflect the quality of their services. This was important because the website was the main form of communication to their volunteers and supporters. Highlighting Get Started’s commitment to supporting community not-for-profit organisations, Get Started helped Reprieve Australia by redeveloping their website.

Reprieve’s new website has been developed using Get Started’s content management system, TightPage. This allows administrators to quickly and easily update all content – including images and text. Reprieve also love that they can quickly add news articles that appear on the homepage and news page. The professional new website design is inline with Reprieve’s corporate style and also helps to reinforce the purpose of their organisation.
