Troy Trewin

While Troy vehemently claims he is not a nerd, remnants of his "inner nerd" can be seen in his past. At age 10, Troy's parents gave him a Commodore 64 and by age 14 he had written his first business application – a debtors management program, written in BASIC, for his lawn mowing business (for all of 7 clients!). Wanting to understand more of what 'Out of memory' meant (and why the creditors management and GL module could not be written) on his then "powerful" personal computer, Troy went on to complete a double degree at La Trobe University, Bendigo – graduating with a Bachelor of Computing and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 1996.

Upon graduating, Troy spent 3 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a SAP Security & Controls Senior Consultant, then took 18 months leave-of-absence to co-found Get Started in 1999. His current operational role is that of Senior Project Manager, and has managed projects for Get Started's larger projects and clients, including SEEK Ltd, ANZ, RACV, Nestle, Department of Justice, Kidspot and Independent Carpet Retailers.
