True Blue Dreaming provide mentoring services to young Australians located in rural Western Australia. By linking mentors with buddies (typically aged in their early teens), mentors are able to provide motivation, development or just a friendly ear to their buddies, despite their remote location.

True Blue Dreaming’s website, also developed by Get Started, had served well but the program had now outgrown the site and realised it was time for redevelopment. TBD wanted a platform that would allow them to easily manage the site themselves, which would allow for buddies and mentors to also contribute to content. Together, Get Started and TBD decided that the TightPage content management system was the best way forward.

The concept for the design was to create something bright and fun while still effectively communicating the True Blue Dreaming message. With the diverse audience ranging from funding providers to the buddies and mentors and themselves, this was an important component. TBD love their new website and the change that it has made to their program!

TBD also saw the opportunity to use a chat platform to provide an effective method to provide the communication between buddies and mentors. Get Started recommended, implemented and customised Cute Chat, which to date has worked extremely well!
