Yarnup launch website


Yarnup connects Australian students with their local Indigenous community in the spirit of friendship. Yarnup introduces schools to the award winning Australian documentary film 'Kanyini'. Student leaders and a support teacher within each school are provided with the materials they need to view the film, facilitate discussion around the issues it raises, and to visit local Indigenous people.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Yarnup needed a cost-effective way to build a website and keep it up-to-date. The Yarnup program can make changes to update program details and add photos and letters from the schools experiencing the program first-hand.

The design of the Yarnup site aims to appeal to primary and high school children. Flash is used on the Home page, rotating through powerful images from the program.
