The goal was to create an enterprise-grade, fully responsive website that also integrates with internal systems, combining back end information from multiple data points. The site needed to have an extensive redundancy plan behind it, with PoPs across several servers in data centres in multiple countries. All this needed to be completed and live in 3 months.
Content personalisation encourages repeat visitors, through the ability to customise and set the users preferred home page. Back office integration with systems such as salesforce.com allows for customised, targeted information to be presented to users, enhancing the site’s ability to convert browsers through to hot leads, and sales. All of these layers of customisation for CGU Insurance ensure true business value is achieved daily beyond completion of this project.
Extensive load testing ensured the site would remain stable regardless of the size of the marketing campaign, allowing CGU Insurance to have confidence in executing large scale campaigns, such as the ‘See It Through’ campaign targeted toward Small Business Owners.
Get Started worked in a tightly integrated team with CGU Insurance, aligning to internal processes using an Agile approach to deliver multiple site components and functionality as quickly as possible. With the strong focus on Agile prototyping and iteration, the scope of the project evolved constantly. Get Started’s flexible partnering approach ensured that the project was delivered on time, on budget and achieved the milestones and requirements outlined in the initial project brief. By doing this CGU Insurance are set up to truly be market leaders in the digital world, as well as the real world.
This site was also a Gold Winner for the Insurance category in the 2015 Communicator Awards, as well as a Silver Winner for Insurance in the 2015 W3 Awards.
